The ferry Hanibal Lucić was built in 1993 in Latvia, for the needs of a Latvian shipping company. It sailed there until 1995 under the name Pramis-7. It was then bought by Jadrolinija and renamed Hanibal Lucić. From then until today, Hanibal Lucić has sailed on many lines in the Zadar, Split, and Dubrovnik areas.
