The Sveti Juraj ferry was built in 1980 in the Kraljevica Shipyard. The ferry was originally called Jurjevo. The former Jurjevo was built for the purpose of transporting passengers and cargo to the prison on Goli Otok Island. Jadrolinija bought the ferry in 1989 and adapted it for the needs of the white fleet at the Kraljevica Shipyard. Today Sveti Juraj sails mostly on the route Prizna-Žigljen and on other routes around Rijeka and Zadar.
