The ferry Bol was built in 2005 in Perama, Greece, for the needs of a Greek customer. There it bore the name Glycophilous. In 2008, Jadrolinija bought it together with two other ferries - M/T Ilovik and M/T Korčula. From then until 2009, the ferry operated on the route Split-Supetar. After that, it was transferred to the Brestova-Porozina line.
